Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted nothing more than to be a mom and a teacher. This year will be my first year teaching in my own room...not filling in, not assisting, not dreaming. I really thought that ship had sailed when I chose to stay home with our girls and most likely it sunk when I chose to homeschool them to boot. But it's a funny thing that happens when you just wait for the right time. Right place. Right people.
I am beginning this teaching journey in first grade, the grade my mom taught for 32 years! It's going to be crazy at first I'm sure, but I'm so excited to meet my new little gems and see where we venture to first! But, first things first...I have to finish the room! 😊
